举世瞩目奥运年 盛世南北机床展
2008年，举世瞩目的奥运会将于中国北京盛大开幕。与此同时，顺应中国机床市场持续蓬勃发展的态势需要，机床业界两场盛会将相继亮相大江南北、各自雄霸一方，为进一步促进中国机床行业快速发展，提供重要机遇。
在业界，享有盛誉的CIMT逢单年举办，而其“姊妹展”CCMT，自2000年逢双年已在上海成功举办了四届。自2008年起，CCMT将正式移师北京。2008年4月21～25日于北京中国国际展览中心举办的CCMT2008主题为：“展示自主创新成果，推动重大专项实施”。届时，CCMT2008将为全面、充分地展示中国数控机床产业发展的新水平和新面貌，提供一个技术舞台。
2008年7月9～12日，机床行业另一场饕餮盛宴——第十届东博国际机床展（EASTPO2008）将于中国经济金融以及制造业中心——上海隆重开席。EASTPO 2008不仅有最新产品的展示，前沿技术的交流，更将为世界各国和地区的机床制造商，带来展开贸易的绝佳际遇。
已成功举办了九届的东博国际机床展，自1999年开展以来，便以打造贸易展为己任，以展览实效为目标，以迅捷、时尚、灵活、有效的市场化运作机制，赢得了业界的广泛关注与普遍赞誉。EASTPO2008主题为：“打造最具实效的全球机床贸易平台”，是世界机床“大腕”入驻中国市场的便捷通路，也是中国机床迈向世界的康庄大道。
在今年EASTPO2007上，世界各地的机床协会与企业纷纷组团前来进行实地考察观摩，对EASTPO2007的现场效果及东博累积10年的品牌经验产生浓厚兴趣与信心。因此，EASTPO2008海外招展状况非常顺利，招展伊始便捷报频传，截止至2007年9月底，EASTPO2008已经赢得了韩国、德国、印度等国家组团积极参与，有更多国家团的合作正在交涉论证过程中。届时，上海在新国际博览中心，100，000平方米的贸易平台上，世界各国机床工具品牌将摆开豪华阵容，同台竞技，各显神通。
2008年，全球奥运盛事之年，世界各地体育健儿在中国大展身手，各竞风流；2008年，东博十年庆典之际，机床行业繁荣之时，CCMT与EASTPO两个国际大展，在时间与空间上遥相呼应，在满足业界需求方面相互补充，为全球机床业界呈上值得期待的荣耀巨献。

In 2008, The Beijing Olympics which has attracted worldwide attention will welcome its grand opening in Beijing, China. Meanwhile, to comply with the flourish demand of machine tool market, machine tool industry will have two major events: EASTPO 2008 and CCMT; One is located in the south-Shanghai; another is located in the north-Beijing. These Two events will provide an important opportunity of further promoting the rapid development of China's machine tool industry.
In the machine tool industry, the prestigious CIMT is held at odd number years in Beijing and its “sister show”-CCMT is held at even number years. Since 2000, CCMT has been held for 4 editions in Shanghai. In 2008, it will be formally moved to Beijing and its theme will be “Showcase results of independent innovation and promote the implementation of major projects.”
